Today starts in Winnemucca, Nevada And finishes in Truckee, California

Places Visited Along The Way, Photos, and Notes

I woke up in Winnemucca and hit the road temperature was mid 60's and warming

I bet you are as tired of photo of the road as I am taking them But, riding through Nevada on I-80 offers little else to see

Fueled up just short of Lovelock

Forecast was that an early season cold front has been sweeping across California and was closing in on Reno

Stopped in Fernley at a McDonalds Light sprinkles and much cooler

Put on my rain gear and heavier gloves With this, operating the camera is not possible and, the camera is alergic to rain so no more photos today

Soon the temperature dropped and the rain begain in earnest continued almost to Reno

Just before Verdi, all traffic stopped Stop and go and stand for about 45 minutes Some one in a small pickup truck tried to do sumersaults

When I got to Truckee, the temperature was 46 Best Western Plus Truckee-Tahoe Hotel
